The PuriCare Dual Access Laminar Flow Cabinet serves as a pass-through for the transfer of materials between a vivarium "clean" room and "dirty" room in a lab environment. HEPA-filtered air purges the contents of the cabinet during transfer and when both sashes are closed. Exclusive features include: Contain-Air™ Negative Pressure Channel; audible/visual sash alarms mounted on both sides to alert operator when both sashes are open; and design to be sealed to the floor for efficient, through-the-wall installation. Other features include: 48.5" wide x 24.5" deep x 26.0" high interior dimensions; nominal inflow velocity of 105 fpm, nominal downflow velocity of 55 fpm; ISO Class 5 air (formerly Class 100); intrinsically-safe negative pressure design; two 99.99% efficient HEPA filters for supply and exhaust; prefilters below the work surface to remove large particles and prolong HEPA filter life; two upper-mounted motorized impellers and a lower-mounted motor/blower with voltage-compensating speed control; Type 304 stainless steel diffuser and removable work surface (47.5" wide x 19.3" deep); stainless steel and glacier white, dry powder epoxy-coated steel exterior; fully-closing, 1/4" thick tempered safety glass sashes with anti-racking mechanism and 17.75" loading height opening; two "clean side"-mounted, Minihelic pressure gauges for monitoring differential pressure across the upper and lower HEPA filters; two 25-watt fluorescent lights; 254 nm UV lamp with interlocking safety switch that shuts off lamp when either sash is opened; airflow monitor mounted on "clean side" with three-light indicator and audible/visual alarm; ultraviolet light, fluorescent light and blower switches with operation from either side; two interior-mounted electrical duplexes with ground fault interruption and splash covers; 8" ID outlet for outside exhaust through a canopy or back into the "dirty" side of the cabinet (canopy included); single point top-mounted internal junction box for hard wiring; stainless steel mounting angles and panels to finish and seal gaps between the wall and exterior of the cabinet; and full three-year limited warranty on parts and labor.
