Major Order For Alexanderwerk AG

Alexanderwerk AG is delighted to announce the receipt of a major order for two units of their new WP 200-1 Roller Compactor. The customer is one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. The order represents the largest one ever signed with a pharmaceutical customer.

The WP 200-1 is the newest design of the highly successful pharma compactors of Alexanderwerk. Compared to the standard model, it grants an increase in capacity of 50 %, Wash-in-Place cleaning (WIP), PAT (Process Analytical Technologies), Through-The-Wall Design (separation of production and technical area), High Containment (production area with isolator) as well as explosion protection features.

Alexanderwerk sees their success as a reward for intensive development efforts of new technologies. In close co-operation with the customer over a period of 15 months, the concept for this innovative Roller Compactor has been developed. Technicians and engineers of both Remscheid and the subsidiary in Horsham, Pennsylviana, have been working on this.

As a Global Agreement has been signed with the customer in the meantime, Alexanderwerk is looking forward to more future orders of the world wide facilities of the Pharma company.
