Squeeze More Profits From Your Fruit Juice Production

High-pressure piston homogenizers are typically used in the Fruit Juice Industry to optimize the sensory properties of the juice, as well as to reduce the tendency to settle-out in the final product by applying a defined reduction of the particle size. While this process has been used for years, most processors are still seeking solutions to common problems such as high capital investment costs, excessive energy consumption, recurring expenses for wear/service, and the potential for a metallic taste to be experienced in the flavor of the final juice product.
The Quadro Ytron™ Z Emulsifier has successfully replaced piston homogenizers around the world and improved profits in juice production facilities. The Z Emulsifier represents a lower capital investment (only 25% of the cost of a typical piston homogenizer), and lower annual maintenance costs (only 10% of the cost for a typical piston homogenizer). Other benefits of the Z Emulsifier include high capacities with flexible tooling applications, no metal taste imparted to the final product and the elimination of filling valve blockages. The Z Emulsifier has proven successful for a wide range of products including orange, apricot and pear concentrates ranging from 120 to 600 brix, at capacities up to 110 gpm (25,000 l/hr).
