Needle-Free Valves

The B. Braun needle-free valves are designed to prevent healthcare workers from needle stick injury accidents. They are accessed with any male luer adapter that opens the valve and allows bi-directional flow. Valves will automatically close when the male luer is removed, preventing the back flow of fluids. Click here for more information.

In-Line Valves

B. Braun offers in-line back check valves with a normally open flow control that permits flow in one direction while preventing backflow. Click here for more information.

Low Pressure Valves

The B. Braun low pressure valve product line is designed to prevent back flow into primary IV containers during piggyback hookup or bolus injection. The normally open valves operate with gravity/flow pressure for optimal shut-off performance. Normally closed one-way check valves open automatically when pressure is applied. Click here for more information.

Normally Closed Valves

Normally closed one-way check valves open automatically when pressure is applied. They are designed for the intermittent injection of fluids while preventing backflow, and are available in standard, low, and high pressure options. Click here for more information.

Manifolds

The B. Braun patented, normally closed manifolds are available in two- and three-port models. Click here for more information.

Dual Check Valves

Dual functioning check valves provide a closed system for the transfer of fluids from one container to another. Standard and high crack pressure versions enable aspiration through one port and injection out of another port. Click here for more information.

Aspiration Valves

These normally closed dual check valves allow fluid to be withdrawn under syringe pressure through the male luer top port, facilitating aspiration of fluids to an off-line container and ensuring flow in one direction. Click here for more information.

TRAC™ Trumpet Valves

TRAC trumpet valves feature single-handed operation and are designed to manually open a path for irrigation, and automatically close when released. The locking version facilitates unattended continuous applications. Click here for more information.
