The event created with the support of leading institutes such as Genomics England, Sanger Institute, Broad Institute and the NHS. As well as these leading research institutes, Biodata brings together global heads of IT, data, analytics, bioinformatics, computational biology, translational medicine etc from leading pharmaceutical companies. Now moving to one of the world's premier life science hubs, the event will help participants successfully tackles the challenges that face them in reference to massive data sets and the problems they are encountering with handling and processing this vast amount of information. The key focus area is about delivering actionable insight from the vast amounts of data. We will be covering data storage and management, data discovery and generation, AI and machine learning, NGS, precision medicine, integration and interoperability. The move to Basel is with the full support of the Canton of Basel-Stadt and Basel- Land who are investing in the event long term and would like us to move to their region.
