The World Drug Safety Congress Americas for over 10 years has served as the only commercially focused event for the pharmacovigilance community. In 2018, we were proud to be the only event to gather over 30 Global Heads of PV from the leading pharmaceutical companies including Merck, Novartis, Roche, Pfizer, Astellas, Boehringer Ingelheim, CSL Behring, Alnylam, Shire, Kite-Gilead, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Zogenix, Intarcia, GlaxoSmithKline, Quark, Portola, Celgene, Keyrus, Taimei, Fibrogen and Genzyme. Due to overwhelming demand from the community we will be adding a predictive safety and medical device focus to the event. We will also include perspectives on global pharmacovigilance from stakeholders outside the U.S. 2019 WILL FEATURE 6 TOPIC AREAS: PV Methodology Next Generation Tech & Data Global PV Predictive Safety Medical Devices Patient Safety The 2019 event will also feature a new venue to accommodate the rapid growth we had this past year.
