Aim of the measurements:
The goal of this analysis was to determine the identity and dispersion of components in a competitive pharmaceutical tablet. These parameters were determined by a combination of Raman and FT-IR microspectrometry.

Conditions of measurements:
The presented data here was measured on the Jobin Yvon LabRAM IR, the award winning system which combines the LabRAM Raman microscope with the Smiths IlluminatIR FT-IR microscope on one optimized single platform. The combination of these two complimentary techniques on a single microscope allows quick identification of the ingredients used in the tablet. The Raman spectra were acquired by using a 633nm excitation laser. The IR spectra were acquired at 4cm-1 spectral resolution using the Diamond ATR objective. Each IR spectrum represents a collection time of one minute twenty seconds. The spectra have been adjusted for the frequency dependence on path length due to the ATR technique.
