Driven by the demand from the first two successful events in Miami, the 3rd Latin America Clinical Trials program will better equip sponsor organizations with the insight and tools they need to be successful while adjusting to the quickly growing clinical trial environment in Latin America. Presentations will be made by the region's foremost clinical research experts who will share their experience of working in Latin America and the know-how of conducting successful clinical trials. Discussion topics include current challenges specific to Brazil such as Drug Access, Placebo Control Trials, and continuing an open dialogue with both regulatory and ethical organizations. In addition, issues that affect regional clinical success such as working in non-traditional markets, collecting metrics to measure performance, and vendor management will also be discussed. Latin America undoubtedly provides a tremendous opportunity for clinical research due to patient availability, however challenges within the region have proven to be major concerns for pharmaceutical manufacturers.
