Pharmacists are an under utilised resource. The publication of the ‘Pharmacy White Paper’ in April 2008 outlined the future direction of travel of the pharmacy workforce. Many elements of developing the profession involve the delivery of enhanced services, a number of which include the use of diagnostic tests. This one-day conference will equip delegates with the skills to confidently deliver enhanced services and health advice to the public. It aims to: Outline what commissioners look for when procuring services. Equip delegates with an understanding of the need for risk assessment and use of appropriate resources in the delivery of enhanced services. Allow delegates to hear expert views on a number of enhanced services Enable delegates to discuss and share best practice with colleagues’ experience from the field. Inform delegates on new developments within this area.
