The 1 Liter FreeZone Freeze Dry System has a compact benchtop design to fit on a laboratory cart or countertop, which is ideal for personal use by one researcher. The LCD displays system set up and operating parameters and may be user-configured to display vacuum in mBar, Pa or Torr and temperature in ° F or ° C. It also displays total number of hours of refrigeration operation and the total number of hours of vacuum pump operation — including the last time they were both serviced.

CFC-refrigeration ensures rapid, environmentally-safe cooling. The stainless steel collector coil cools to –50º C. The automatic start up allows the user to press only one switch to initiate the collector cool down and vacuum pull down sequence. The attachment lid allows connection of a drying chamber or manifold. A variety of drying accessories are offered. Options include Teflon*-coated collector chamber and coil for processes involving corrosive compounds. Domestic and international electrical configurations are available.
