STERIS Life Sciences Group introduces the NEW VHP Victory Room Biodecontamination Unit

The STERIS Life Sciences Group announces the addition of the new VHP Victory Room Biodecontamination Unit to its portfolio of vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) biodecontamination solutions.

"The Victory unit establishes a new standard for room biodecontamination," commented Art Papineau, VHP product manager, STERIS Life Sciences Group. "We believe this unit is the highest capacity portable VHP machine ever produced and it's simple to use. Our Smart Phase software technology has allowed us to eliminate the preconditioning phase, which shortens the total cycle and eliminates the need for dehumidification equipment. It's the same dry VHP vapor, but we can now decontaminate larger areas faster and with less equipment."

The STERIS Victory unit has the capacity to decontaminate up to 425 cubic meters. Multiple units can network together to treat areas as large as 5,000 cubic meters or more. This patented technology injects up to 40 grams per minute of dry VHP while dynamically adjusting to room conditions to achieve the desired log reduction without any condensation. In addition to the unit itself, STERIS is introducing related accessories designed to enhance aeration and cycle development.

STERIS VHP technology was introduced more than 20 years ago. STERIS continues to be a global leader in dry vapor VHP technologies, with hundreds of units operating in biopharmaceutical, research and laboratory environments as well as in the food and beverage industry.
