Fisher Clinical Services, a world leader in clinical supply management and a division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, has embarked on a centers of excellence strategy for Cold Chain and Ambient storage, distribution and return services. To support this strategy, the Allentown campus will double in size in the first quarter of 2008. Allentown will provide a dedicated 160,000 sq ft GMP facility for ambient Storage and Distribution, adding 10,000 pallet locations and enhanced automated storage and retrieval systems. In addition, Fisher is tripling its refrigerated capacity and is dedicating over 30,000 square feet specifically for returns, accountability, and storage of clinical trials material. Fisher Clinical Services will continue to support the needs of our customers through the strategic addition of state-of-the-art facilities in China and India over the next few months.
