Accura-C Capsule Weighing System
The Accura-C is the latest technological advance in precision capsule weight sorting for pharmaceuticals. Models are available in 6 lane or 12 lane versions, with outputs of 80,000 and 160,000 capsules per hour. The Accura-C is designed to weigh all standard capsule sizes, as well as special sizes such as Supro and elongated capsules, within the range of 0 to 2,000 mg. Size change-overs are done in less than 10 minutes, without the need for tools.
We have extensive experience and knowledge of the exacting standards of the pharmaceutical industry. The Accura-C was designed to meet these requirements. Positive capsule transport through every step of the process insures high yields and less down-time. Faulty capsules are automatically rejected. In addition, the Accura-C offers the option of increased accuracy, or higher output. In standard mode, the weight accuracy is +/- 2 mg at full output speed. In cases where higher accuracy is required, the machine can be set to extend measuring time and weights are checked to within +/- 1 mg. Other features include:
- Separate weigh cell to compensate for ambient influences such as vibration
- Zero taring of weigh cells at pre-set intervals
- Analysis and statistical evaluation of the weighing cell, directly at the machine
- Interfaces for transfer of weighing results and production data acquisition
