The Granule Visual Inspection System (GVIS-SXX-D) is a dual line granular inspection system that enables a higher throughput then the GVIS-SXX model. As the granules fall in the form of a thin layer, this system inspects for and utilizes suction to remove foreign particles or hair contaminating the granules. This very unique method of inspecting free-falling granules prevents overlooking foreign particles hidden among overlapping granules. Employing two CCD line sensor cameras, the GVIS-SXX-D achieves two-fold processing capacity compared to the GVIS-SXX model.
