Webinar On Evaporation And Reformatting Of Large Volume Samples
March 11, 2009
Genevac has announced a new free-to-register webinar entitled, 'Fast, safe evaporation and reformatting of large volume samples' to enable scientists to gain insight into revolutionary new technologies for large sample volume evaporation applications.
Fast, sample safe evaporative removal of large volumes of solvent is of considerable interest to many environmental, natural product, medicinal chemistry and chiral synthesis labs. Current techniques used for these applications have many shortfalls and there is no credible parallel evaporator for large volumes.
The ROCKET Evaporator incorporates revolutionary new technology that enables it to dry or concentrate as many as six large volume flasks (each containing up to 450ml solvent) five times faster than conventional rotary evaporators. In addition, with SampleGenie technology large volume samples can be concentrated or dried directly into a small vial, eliminating post evaporation reformatting steps which minimises sample loss and maximises laboratory workflow.
The webinar, due to take place on 26th March 2009, will introduce the new patented technology behind the ROCKET evaporator and describe how new innovations have addressed the shortfalls of traditional large volume sample evaporation techniques. The new technology will be demonstrated using customer data showing highly efficient evaporation of environmental samples and HPLC fractions. The webinar will finish with an open forum question and answer session.
Genevac, a SP Industries company, was founded in 1990. Today the company employs around 85 people, with manufacturing, R&D and marketing headquartered in Ipswich, UK. Genevac today offers a comprehensive portfolio of evaporators to suit almost any solvent removal application, purchasing budget or productivity requirement.
