Natoli Engineering Welcomes Tablet Tooling Expert Todd Martin
St. Charles, MO - Natoli Engineering, the world-renowned leader in tablet compression tooling, presses, machine parts, and encapsulation, is excited to announce the hiring of longtime expert in the field, Todd D. Martin, into his new role as Senior Technical Service Engineer. Prior to his role at Natoli, Mr. Martin served as a Senior Tooling Engineer at Wilson Tool International for over five years, and in multiple tooling-related roles for over 22 years at Thomas Engineering.
While at Wilson Tool International, Mr. Martin authored several whitepapers, including “Tableting: Minitablets and Microtip Tooling” and “Tableting with Poorly Compactible Formulations”. Todd has also conducted an array of training classes, with topics including advanced tablet design, film coating, micro tip tooling, multi-tip tooling, tablet quality troubleshooting, tooling troubleshooting, and the art & science of tablet compression.

In his new role, Todd will continue to author technical articles for publication and sales support, write standard operating procedures, complete tablet and tool designs for customer products, provide technical support and troubleshooting, facilitate trainings, and be an integral part of new product development. He is also a Steering Committee member of the American Pharmacists Association for the Tableting Specification Manual 8th Edition (scheduled for publication in 2024), which establishes tablet tooling standards for North America.
