PDA Announces New Learning Center Featuring Technical Education Program at INTERPHEX 2015

Industry experts will present the latest on key topics in manufacturing, focusing on issues related to aging facilities. These topics will build on the robust agenda to be presented at the 2015 PDA Annual Meeting March 16-18 in Las Vegas, NV (LEARN IT!), and the technology can be seen “in action” on the Exhibit Floor at INTERPHEX 2015 (EXPERIENCE IT!).

Tuesday, April 21, 2015, 9:00am - 11:00am: “Continuous Manufacturing for an Aging Facility”                                   
This session will provide attendees with examples of how a continuous manufacturing process can make a pharmaceutical facility more efficient as well as provide views from the US FDA followed by a case study on how upgrading two existing Lyos with RABS, Formatting Tables Transfer Carts, and ALUS (Automatic Loading & Unloading Systems) led to improved efficiency and reduced operators.

This session will provide an overview of aging and modernization as well as provide participants with a summary of the Readout Reports from the 2015 PDA Aging Facilities Workshop.
