Brochure: MS235: An Innovative Dosing Unit

For packaging powders in sachets, Marchesini Group presents the MS235, a heat-sealed sachet form/fill/seal machine, recently updated mainly in terms of its drive units, control unit and patented screw feeder dosing unit.

To guarantee a perfect dose in every sachet, each dosing screw feeder has been fitted with a motor-driven secondary pre-screw feeder device for perfect constant product feed in each dosing channel. This new system uses an independent brushless motor to drive the secondary screw feeder unit, and avoids having mixers around the dosing unit. The dosing system is set up to be equipped with a weight check system on each channel, with relative feed-back. Size change-overs are fast, not forgetting the possibility of automatically removing the dosing device at the end of production. A simple motor-powered control allows its outward rotation. Parts in contact with the product can be removed without tools. The basic ideas behind the design of this machine were easy cleaning, maximum efficiency, great reliability, extreme accessibility and flexibility.
