Innovative Packaging for Shipping Refrigerated Pharmaceuticals
The current logistics spend for temperature-sensitive healthcare products is approximately $7.5 billion worldwide and growing, or about 12% of the overall pharma logistics market. Approximately $4.9 billion is spent on transportation while another $2.6 billion is allocated to specialized packaging and monitoring devices. But what will the needs, trends and concerns in market look like in the next 2 to 3 years?
In order to gain a deeper understanding of this rapidly evolving market, Sonoco ThermoSafe is conducting a comprehensive and forward looking survey developed by an advisory panel of industry experts from pharmaceutical manufacturing, logistics companies, media partners, independent consultants, and IQPC event managers .
The survey consists of two sections and covers a range of topics from innovation and performance to demographics and environmental concerns. It should take approximately 10 minutes and will remain open on-line until June 30, 2014. If you wish to answer anonymously you may do so. However, if your name and email are provided, a summary of the results will be sent in advance of the publically published findings.
The complete results and analysis of the survey will be formally presented publicly and industry wide at the 12th annual Cold Chain Global Forum, September 29 - October 3, 2014, in Boston.
