Disposable Dosing Systems

In the past, filling line equipment was commonly dedicated entirely to a single product. However, this approach is no longer economically feasible except for the highest-volume drugs that support nearly continuous filling operations. Bosch offers a pre-validated, pre-assembled, and pre-sterilized solution. The Prevas family of aseptic disposable dosing systems is designed to meet the demand for systems that support single-use purification, formulation and filling operations.

Syringes

Bosch has had many years of experience in the filling and processing of syringes. Through this experience, we have developed highly reliable machines with precision handling for both nested filling processes as well as bulk processing. These systems are available with many desirable features, such as in-process check weighing, barrier isolators, or RABs. Bosch also offers a wide product line of syringe processing equipment to accompany the filling machines.

Capsule Fillers and Checkweighers
Bosch capsule fillers provide precision dosing of liquids, powders, tablets or pellets into hard gelatin or gelatin-free capsules. They are available in a wide range of speeds and can be combined with our capsule and tablet checkweighers.

Vials
Bosch offers a complete line of vial filling and processing equipment. The filling machines can be equipped with a variety of filling systems and integrated with RABS and barrier isolators. As a complete system supplier, we offer washing, sterilizing, filling, stopperings, checkweighing, over-capping, and coding machines as parts of the complete vial process line.

Cartoners
Bosch cartoners offer the pharmaceutical industry reliable high-speed carton folding, insertion, and closure. Focusing on pharmaceutical applications, Bosch cartoners are used for a wide variety of products, including bottles, ampoules, syringes, blister packs, bags, and other applications. Whether it's a blister cartoner, stand-alone cartoner, or part of an integrated system, Bosch can supply the right solution to meet your high demands.

Inspection Equipment

As part of its role as a total solutions provider, Bosch Packaging Technology manufactures particle, cosmetic, and leak inspection equipment for use in your production line. A number of different technologies are employed in these machines, giving you the choice of the optimum method of inspection for your product. Bosch supplies equipment for inspection for vials, syringes, ampoules, and cartridges of various sizes.

Cartridges

Bosch is the world leader in supplying cartridge filling lines for the dental and insulin industry. Additionally, Bosch's flexible machinery design successfully supports and is compatible with a variety of customer products and process lines. Solutions are available for low, medium and high speed production.

Powder Filling for Vials

Bosch's powder filling line for vials will handle vials and bottles of varying sizes and outputs. The machines operate using precise dosing and controlled environments to maximize the efficiency and reliability of the line.

Ampoules

Ampoules are the package of choice for many drugs. They completely encase the product in inert glass with no rubber stopper or other material in contact with the drug. Bosch offers mid-range and high-speed filler models with check weighing and sealing options. Bosch also offers a combination vial and ampoule filling machine. 

Sterilization

With the recent acquisition of PharmaTec and its subsidiary Schoeller-Bleckmann Medizintechnik (SBM), Bosch Packaging Technology now provides high quality solutions in the field of Sterilization Technology and Clean Utilities for the Pharmaceutical Industry. Applications range from the sterilization of goods such as filling machine parts, filters, glass, metal or plastic containers, textiles, rubber stoppers, syringes, infectious waste discard, and more. Sterilized goods are returned from the chamber dry and ready for use.

Clean Utilities

All Water Stills and Pure Steam Generators incorporate a unique natural circulation, shell and tube heat exchanger and are designed to meet or exceed all requirements of the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) and the European Pharmacopoeia, as well as other national specifications for Water Injection. The utilities produced by Distillation Units and Pure Steam Generators are either stored in storage tanks or directly provided via a loop system and can be delivered from one source. These systems range from fully automated computer based systems with filling station management to simple semi-automatic storage and distribution systems. 

Validation and Consulting Services

Our validation and qualification department can support your validation efforts on Bosch equipment. Also, our Valicare division, which operates independently of Bosch, can work with you to validate any pharmaceutical process and packaging equipment, regardless of manufacturer. In either case, we can fulfill specific tasks or take responsibility for an entire project.

Parts – Preventative Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance is a critical part of any production process to ensure quality products, maximized production and minimized unplanned down time. Bosch Packaging Engineers and Technicians work together to create PM kits specific to your equipment, and based on their experience, provide a recommended time line for performing PM's.
