About Us

Quadro Engineering engineers and manufactures specialized size reduction and liquids processing equipment for processors in the Pharmaceutical, Food, Cosmetic/Personal Care and Fine Chemical industries worldwide.

In 1976, Quadro originated the concept of the conical mill, or "Comil®", and was first to bring it to market. Very quickly, Process Managers recognized the important advantages in this revolutionary concept. The conical mill soon became the universal standard and most imitated concept for diverse processing needs including dry milling and high shear mixing, controlled grinding, dispersion, deagglomeration and wet-mass delumping processes.

On the liquid processing side, quality-conscious processors are constantly challenged by the demand to achieve homogeneous mixtures of solid and liquid materials with vastly different properties. In 1990, Quadro recognized the opportunity to help our customers meet these needs with an innovative line of batch and continuous mixing equipment. By challenging traditional mixing methods, Quadro has led the development of in-line processing technology.

To complement our size reduction and mixing products, Quadro has developed a range of pneumatic conveying equipment engineered to support systems integration. The Quadro Vac® pneumatic conveyor is the ideal "up and in" alternative to manual conveying methods. Its simple mechanism and "air-logic" controls are provided with a wide range of material-handling, application-specific design options.

While having achieved success globally with its products, Quadro believes that quality is, itself, a process that cannot stand still. Through investment in R&D and the ongoing refinement and extension of the Comil design, Quadro has continued to earn its position as the market leader.

The legendary quality of Quadro products is matched by the exceptional quality of service and support provided by Quadro people. Quadro's 28 years of experience provides an unmatched depth of industry knowledge in widely varied process applications. Quadro opens the doors to its extensive test facility to allow customers the opportunity to run real-world tests of their process on Quadro equipment, without charge, and see the results first hand.

While we bring this knowledge home to develop new enhancements to our products, we also take it out to the field to help customers solve their unique processing problems. Quadro sales and technical staff have the insight to fully support customers globally in defining the ideal solution, and then custom engineer Quadro equipment to fit the process.
