The SOTAX HT 100 Tablet Hardness Tester is ideal for the QC and R&D labs as well as high throughput production settings. The HT 100 is an automated system that incorporates a built-in weight cell to measure tablet weights in addition to tablet thickness, diameter and hardness. The HT 100 offers a unique system that separates different tablet shapes and sizes without operator intervention. This unit also offers a unique tubular carousel which holds hundreds of tablets to be tested automatically. It is fully supported by IQ and OQ documentation and user training.

The HT 100 offers a unique system that separates different tablet shapes and sizes without operator intervention. Features
- The SOTAX HT 100 Tablet Hardness Tester is equipped with the unique Auto AlignmentTM device that automatically and instantaneously aligns the sample in the correct measurement position for hardness testing.
- The measurement principle of tablet hardness can be changed from «Constant Speed» (where the test jaw moves at a constant speed adjustable from 5–100 N / sec) or to Constant Force (where the test jaw increases pressure linearly adjustable from 5–100 N / sec). This feature is easily selected before each test to compare and reproduce results for all common hardness testers available and serves an excellent research tool.
- The SOTAX HT 100 is manufactured of top-quality materials. The housing is made of galvanized, powder-coated sheet steel. No regular maintenance is needed.
