Challenge
A new process was needed for the commercial manufacturing of Ceralasertib, an experimental anti-cancer therapy with a challenging molecular structure comprised of a pyrimidine core decorated with a chiral morpholine, a cyclopropyl sulfoximine and an axaindote.
