Lasertechnics introduces the new Allprint Smart S laser marking system to the North American market. As the fastest laser marking system in the world, the Allprint Smart S handles line speeds of up to 2,000 feet per minute to mark as many as 75,000 products per hour. Ideal for harsh environments, the Allprint Smart S features sealed stainless steel housings that protect against water and dust, meeting IP 65 and NEMA 4 washdown standards.
Using vector technology, the Allprint Smart S offers exceptional marking versatility with no font, graphic or code restrictions and a large marking field that maximizes positioning and design possibilities. The system can laser mark fixed and variable alpha-numeric data, bar codes, logos and other symbols onto plastic, glass and cardboard, as well as labels. Easily and quickly accommodating a variety of containers, the laser marking system features a no-tools-required changeover routine. The marking unit can be pre-aligned to the marking zone via xyz adjustments.
The Allprint Smart S laser marks moving and stationary products without contact, producing permanent codes and graphics that resist chemicals, UV light and abrasion to deter tampering and falsification. Compared to inkjet and dot-matrix laser marking systems, the Allprint Smart S offers the highest quality mark available.
The Allprint Smart S eliminates consumables such as inks, solvents and laser gases. With trouble-free start-up and no scheduled or unscheduled shut downs for ink replenishment, cleaning of clogged nozzles and polluted marking areas, the Allprint Smart S improves production efficiency. The Allprint Smart S is easily installed on new or existing production lines. The system features a compact supply and marking unit and standardized interfaces that seamlessly integrate with a variety of conveyors and labelers. Configuration is quickly accomplished online through external devices such as a PC, PLC or host computer working with the RS232 port or directly at the system via a hand-held remote controller.
With every Allprint Smart S laser marking system, Lasertechnics offers Smart Job software, a full-feature text, data and graphic parameter editor that is optimized for marking and coding packages. This innovative user-friendly interface can be used on any standard PC under Windows® 98, 2000, ME, XP or NT.
The Allprint Smart S can produce standard industrial fonts such as Type 1 Windows® and True Type; machine-readable codes such as OCR, 2D-matrix and bar codes; graphics and logos. The system can mark sequential and batch numbers as well as automatic date, time and shift coding with a real-time clock function.
