Case Study: America's Pride Seafood

America's Pride Seafood harvests, processes, prepares, and sells quality seafood from catfish farms in Alabama and the cold oceans of the North Atlantic. The company's two brands - Southern Pride and Frionor - each operate two facilities where seafood is processed and prepared for market. Finished products are sold worldwide through an extensive global distribution network.
The company produces a diverse range of fillet, surimi, roe and block-cut product offerings, made from Alaska Pollock, cod, sea scallops, and U.S. farm raised catfish. The Alabama plants together process more than 100 million pounds of catfish annually; the production lines in Massachusetts produce more than 7,000 pounds of Atlantic seafood per hour. In all, the company employs more than 700 people.
