ArQ® - Vita can achieve large volume, deep intramuscular delivery, making it the ideal platform to deliver medication for chronic conditions. Built around Oval’s polymeric primary drug container technology, we can create a device that is small and simple to use, whilst housing the correct length needle to achieve consistent intramuscular delivery for your patient population.
For formulations prone to settling, the Vita platform offers a streamlined solution through automated resuspension technology. Designed for subcutaneous or intramuscular delivery, it supports long-acting drugs and accommodates volumes from 0.5 mL to 2 mL with viscosities under 100 cP. The dry-needle system enables automatic needle insertion and retraction, enhancing safety and simplifying administration. Vita’s compatibility with ISO-standard plunger stoppers and configurable needle gauge and length allows for tailored applications across a range of therapies. Additional material options and barrier coatings support lipid-based or oxygen-sensitive formulations, housed in a cyclic olefin copolymer container. Patients benefit from a simple two-step operation, intuitive feedback mechanisms, and a needle guard activation feature that improves comfort and confidence.
