Artisan is a custom engineering and metal fabricating company.

For more than 60 years our highly integrated team of engineers (chemical, mechanical, and control) and manufacturing professionals (welders, electricians, pipefitters, and machinists) has been serving the process industries. Today, Artisan is active in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, paper, petroleum, defense, nuclear, and biotechnology industries.

Our Chemical Engineering team designs and fabricates modular process systems. Artisan's proprietary evaporation, stripping and distillation technology is especially appropriate for materials that are viscous and/or heat-sensitive and/or contain solids.

The team also designs and manufactures Jet•Vac® ejectors of all types and sizes, including steam jet vacuum ejectors, steam jet thermo-syphons, and hybrid systems.

We provide Metal Fabrication & Contract Manufacturing for machining and welding metals to produce components or devices that clients have already designed. Our staff works with steels, Monel®, Inconel®, Hastelloy®, aluminum, and titanium.

Our Mechanical Engineers provide mechanical design services and large fabrications. Our engineers specialize in custom process equipment and ASME code pressure vessels.

Our staff offers the highest level of expertise in chemical engineering, instrumentation and control design, metal fabrication, and mechanical engineering. Artisan can design and/or fabricate virtually any kind of metal part. In addition, Artisan can provide all the engineering and fabrication skills to:

  • Design or revise a chemical production process.
  • Verify and scale up the process in Artisan's pilot plant or at your site with rental equipment.
  • Specify the equipment, configuration and instrumentation to perform the process.
  • Design, fabricate and deliver a modularized system with instrumentation.
  • Support the installation, start-up and maintenance of the system.
