Burlington, VT - Versatility and simplicity combine in the true aseptic Flexicon Model FPC50 fully automated liquid filler available from Flexicon America Inc. to easily handle a wide range of vial diameters, stoppers, cap sizes and fill volumes—without requiring additional change parts.

A "walking beam" mechanism easily adjusts, without the need for additional change parts, to adapt to vial sizes from 2 ml to 100 ml. The FPC50 fills cGMP-injectable liquids at speeds of up to 30 vpm; which results in comfortable filling of up to 5,000 units per day.

Economic, universal sorting bowls handle 13 and 20 mm standard and lyophilizer stoppers and aluminum to eliminate the need for extra parts and associated downtime changeovers, and to reduce cost. A full format changeover requires less than 15 minutes--enabling the FPC50 to easily handle fill volumes that range from 2 to 100 ml simply by changing the tubing size.

Integrated capabilities perform nitrogen purging and blanketing operations, when desired.

For greatest fill ease, Ready-to-Use and One-Time-Use DAFPA (Disposable Aseptic Fluid PAth) packaging greatly simplifies cleaning validation and permits fast set-up between dissimilar product batches.
