ASEPTIC TECHNOLOGIES: Sterile Vials and Filling Systems

Source: PharmaSystems, Inc.
Aseptic Technologies designs unique sterile closed vials and filling systems, ideal for biologic and toxic products. Aseptic Technologies offers unique, ready to fill sterile closed vials (1ml to 50 ml) with the stopper secured in place. The vial body is made of COC, a clear, high purity copolymer, and the stopper is made of a proprietary TPE. Filling systems for these vials are available in lab, clinical and production capacity lines. The vial is filled by inserting a non-coring needle through the stopper, which is resealed by laser, then caps are applied on the same line.

The Laboratory Crystal® M1 Filling Station has been developed to meet small scale pharmaceutical filling. Being manually activated, the filling capacity depends on operator capabilities, with batch size ranging from a few up to 1,500 vials (two operators), on a single shift basis.

The Laboratory Crystal® L1 Robot Line has been designed to address the research lots manufacturing small stability and niche products production. Typically, a batch would represent a few hundreds of vials up to 5,000 vials a day.

The Production Crystal® Cx Filling Line has been designed to address the medium scale pharmaceutical filling, with a capacity to fill large clinical batches and small commercial batches. Typically, a batch would represent a few thousands of vials up to 40,000 vials a day.

The Production Crystal® Pxx Filling Line has been designed to address the large scale pharmaceutical filling, with a capacity to fill commercial batches up to half a million vials a day.
