Powder Handling- The PER-FIL Model PF-14 OEM Mount Auger Filler is designed for precise filling of powder and granular products into bags. This system can be semi-automatic for filling pre-made bags or automatic when integrated with vertical or horizontal form/fill/seal equipment with a maximum production rate of 120 bags per minute.
In semi-automatic operation, pre-made bags are manually presented to the filler. The operator opens the bag and depresses the filler footswitch. The filler dispenses a pre-set amount of product and when the fill cycle is complete, the operator removes the bag for sealing.
In automatic operation, the PF-14 is integrated with a horizontal or vertical form/fill/seal system. The form/fill/seal equipment uses roll stock film to automatically form a bag. Once the bottom and side seals are made, the filler cycles dispensing a pre-set amount of product. When the fill cycle is complete, the top seal is made and the bag is cut.
Capable of fill speeds from 10-120 bags per minute, the PER-FIL PF-14 will ensure clean, accurate fills of your powder and granular products.
