Bausch Advanced Technology Group Expands Facility To Increase Manufacturing And Reinforce Strong Customer Service

Bausch Advanced Technology Group, a leading supplier of pharmaceutical machinery worldwide, announces the expansion of its state-of-the-art facility in Clinton, CT USA. Doubling the square footage, this expansion increases Bausch's manufacturing capabilities and offers more space for engineering, pilot testing, parts and service as well as research and development. The expansion enables Bausch to stay ahead of growing customer demand for its innovative technologies and continue providing superior customer service while increasing new product development capabilities.

With more than 20 years of engineering and manufacturing of machinery dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry, Bausch offers complete turn-key pharmaceutical packaging lines for syringes, cartridges, vials, ampoules and IV bags to customers worldwide. In addition to its expanded USA facility in Clinton, CT, Bausch has manufacturing plants in Switzerland, Germany and Brazil and benefits from it's own sales offices in the USA, Germany, Russia and South America. Bausch also works with a large distribution network covering over 30 countries.

"Bausch Advanced Technology Group founds its success on the constant improvement of its technologies and customer service to satisfy current and future market needs," noted Oliver Bausch, President of Bausch. "With innovative and reliable pharmaceutical machinery, local presence on an international scale and superior service, Bausch is driven toward achieving one single goal: Customer Success."

In compliance with the relevant international standards, Bausch offers a wide range of pharmaceutical machinery, including:

  • Washing Machines for vials, ampoules, syringes, cartridges, bottles
  • Sterilization Tunnels
  • Filling and Closing Machines for ampoules, cartridges, vials, syringes, bottles
  • Aseptic I.V. Bag filling Machines (PP, PVC, EVA, etc...)
  • Powder Filling Machines
  • Loading Machines for magazines
  • Buffers
  • Laminar Flow Units
  • Machines for the assembly of safety devices onto pre-filled syringes
  • Polypropylene I.V. Bag Making Machines
  • Labeling Machines

A good illustration is the Group's new nested syringes filling and stoppering machine dedicated to help pharmaceutical and biotech companies automate and/or validate the filling of their products in development or in clinical trial phases. By using an innovative vacuum filling and stoppering technology and by reducing the intervention of the operator to a strict minimum, the Type 535 machine avoids potential contamination from both human contact and air.

Manufactured in the USA, the Type 535 is designed with stainless steel exposed metal surfaces for wash down compatibility and machine guarding that enhances worker safety while providing ample access to the workstations. The machine guarding also supports an optional top-mounted laminar flow and optional RABS unit. An optional vision system is being utilized to verify containers processed.
