Biological Safety Cabinets

LabGard Biological Safety Cabinets provide performance with protection for personnel, product, and environment, as well as long-term dependability. The cabinets are quiet and feature easy operation. The cabinets create uniform downflow velocity throughout the entire work zone. Aerosols generated within the work zone flow instantly into the front and back work surface grills with no lateral movement. The airflow design results in a quiet, uniform downflow velocity over the sterile work zone. The system prevents uneven particulate loading by eliminating direct blower blast to the HEPA filter, spreading high static pressure over 100% of the filter surface.

The system surrounds all positive pressure air flow chambers and ducts with vacuum or negative air pressure relative to the lab. A High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filtration is utilized for both supply (work zone) and exhaust air systems. The HEPA filters are rated 99.99% efficient on removal of all particulate matter 0.3 microns, with greater efficiency on larger and/or smaller particles. All cabinets are designed with ergonomic features providing user comfort to meet the requirements of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).
