Ask some questions you need to ask of your carrier.
Cost control is a factor that is of interest to nearly any decision-maker. In evaluating the cost of temperature-controlled shipping, consider also the cost of your own past losses, excursion management expenses (including quarantine delays) and packaging costs. Also consider the sensitivity of the freight, your tolerance for loss and the quality assurance/regulatory environment. It may be that the most cost-effective solution does not have the least cost per mile or per weight.
