Cambrex Scientist Spotlight: Jonas Nilsson

Jonas Nilsson, Principal Scientist based in Karlskoga, Sweden, leads a team of synthetic chemists focused on process development and optimization. With a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Linköping University, he specializes in organic chemistry, process development, and impurity tracking.

Nilsson is committed to investigating even the smallest deviations, believing that understanding and addressing them early prevents bigger problems down the road. He also mentors in process development and GMP chemical development, and oversees planning and execution of projects for GMP custom process chemistry.
