Cascading Libraries Now Available In The Vision Software
Cascading Libraries is now available with FOSS Vision software. Cascading Libraries will help users of Vision to run samples against many libraries (models) at the same time, reducing the prediction time, providing flexibility in the process and simplifying library validation.
Cascading Libraries is a set of libraries (like a hierarchical tree). When you try to predict a sample you start using one library and then cascade to the next library and so forth.
Cascading Libraries is available in the ‘Routine Analysis' part of Vision where it will allow multiple libraries to be applied in a "cascade" from a "global" library to sub-libraries. Cascading Libraries confirms a sample ID against multiple libraries (instead of one global library only) within one Routine Analysis operations method. The maximum number of sub-libraries is unlimited.
Validation is not needed for the cascade of libraries as validation of each library is performed in the Qualitative Analysis/Library Validation mode. Results of each library test appear in the Routine Analysis Results report which also lists which library the sample is being tested against.
