CB and Medtower partner to provide in-depth medical information during clinical trials
CB Technologies, Inc., the premier provider of technology tools and services to life science companies, and Medtower, Inc., recently announced their partnership to integrate Medtower's Life Science Informationists Service and custom-tailored disease-specific database services into CB's myMetaTrial Management Portal. Through this integration, users of myMetaTrial will be able to obtain customized answers to their specific questions regarding therapeutic areas, diseases, procedures, and more.
CB's myMetaTrial Management Portal is a customizable clinical portal that provides easy access to information across one or more clinical trials. Study sponsors can track their entire portfolio of trials through myMetaTrial or review the progress of a single study. The portal gives other parties involved in the trial-investigators, monitors, project managers-access to a wide array of information and tools to better manage clinical trials, including MetaTrial electronic data capture (EDC) software, document sharing, trial management reporting, and threaded discussions among others. Access to trial information can be customized for each user.
Medtower's Informationists are specialists (M.D.s and Ph.D.s) who understand the information needs of the life science industry and can tap the best academic thought leaders internationally to answer specific medical, biotechnology and pharmaceutical questions. Informationists retrieve, analyze, and process questions from users and then generate customized knowledge reports answering users' questions. By integrating Medtower's Informationists services and disease-specific databases into myMetaTrial, users will have access to vast amounts of medical information without having to sort through Internet search results or databases.
