Conductivity Analyzer

The Model TB84EC Conductivity Analyzer is designed for both field and panel mounting. The auto ranging TB84 is capable of measuring from ultra pure water to general conductivity to concentrated acid and bases, providing measurement flexibility. The four-electrode conductivity sensors compensate for all sensor coating and fouling and operate in industries most difficult process conditions. Preprogrammed concentration curves include NaOH, NaCl, HCl, H₂SO₄, and a user defined six-point linear curve fit where output follows concentration. Instrument and sensor diagnostics are continuous with remote diagnostic alarming available either through the relays or the current outputs. Packaged in a cast aluminum NEMA 4X/IP 65, corrosion-resistant housing, it comes complete with the CE mark and a universal power supply that accepts 94 to 276 VAC.

The user interface consists of a large, backlit LCD display and multi-function soft keys that easily guide the user through configuration, calibration, and interrogation of the instrument. Two fully-programmable isolated current outputs and three fully-programmable relay outputs come standard. These direct or reverse-acting current outputs can be sourced to the process value, temperature, or diagnostics, cycle timer or sensor cleaner. Included are eleven different types of temperature compensation including three for pure water and four for specified chemicals.

Additional features include programmable security codes, user-adjustable damping, configuration lockout, smart calibration routines that provide sensor diagnostic information and a hold output feature that ensures plant safety and process integrity during maintenance and calibration.
