Q&A: Containment In Tablet Press Suite

A large Pharmaceutical Company in the Northeast requested G2MH's involvement on a project to use a fully automated Robot and Split Butterfly containment valves in a Tablet Suite. To the customer's knowledge this type of automation was a first for a Tablet Press suite. The customer's main concerns were operator safety and full containment of the Schedule II narcotic. G2 was selected for this project due to their expertise in custom stainless steel fabrication and their ability to implement powder processing equipment thru the G2 Field Installation Technicians.
