Contec, Inc.® Partners With i-team Global To Deliver Cleanroom-Certified, Battery-Powered Mechanized Cleaning System

PowerMop CE is a new, innovative approach to contamination and residue removal on floors in cleanroom environments.

Spartanburg, SC — Contec, Inc. is proud to announce its exclusive partnership with iteam Global to launch PowerMop CE, a cleanroom-certified, battery-powered mechanized floor cleaning system designed for critical environments. Adapted from i-team’s i-mop 40 unit, PowerMop CE was developed to support the stringent requirements of controlled environments to help facilities reduce cross-contamination risks while effectively removing floor contamination and residue. Designed in accordance with ISO 14644-5 standards, PowerMop CE is certified for use in ISO Class 6/EU Grade C cleanrooms.

Advanced Contamination Control

Engineered for effective cleanroom cleaning and residue removal, PowerMop CE introduces a new approach to cleaning and disinfecting floors in critical environments. Its dual, single-use counterrotating pads provide consistent, repeatable performance from operator to operator, helping lift and remove particles, bioburden, and chemical residues from floor surfaces. In addition, HEPA filtration on the vacuum exhaust captures airborne particles generated during use, supporting established cleanroom protocols.

Controlled Solution Application

PowerMop CE gives operators greater control over solution application with a simple push-button adjustment for solution laydown, allowing them to respond to varying soil loads across floor surfaces. The vacuum function can be turned off to allow solution to be applied directly to the floor if desired.

Designed with Ergonomics in Mind

The modular design of PowerMop CE enables fast, straightforward assembly in just minutes. Its lightweight construction makes the unit easy to lift and move for cleaning or maintenance. During operation, the single-use counter-rotating pads help propel the machine forward, reducing the physical effort required to maneuver it through the cleanroom.

Availability

PowerMop CE will be exclusively available through Contec in North America in May 2026 and in Europe later in the year. Demonstrations can be scheduled with a Contec Cleanroom sales representative.
