Contract Manufacturing of Topical and Dermatological Aerosols

Inyx's contract manufacturing capabilities include hydrocarbon aerosols as a delivery system for dermatological and topical drug applications. The drug (usually a corticosteroid or similar anti-inflammatory agent specifically formulated with excipients) is kept under pressure in a can with liquid hydrocarbons. Once expelled, the mixture turns into a mousse or foam for easy application and rapid absorption of the drug.

We use two state-of-the-art hydrocarbon filling lines with intrinsically safe equipment, protected gassing of hydrocarbons, remote safety monitoring equipment and dedicated manufacturing areas. We are capable of bulk manufacture, filling, valve placements, gassing, water-bath testing and packaging, including individual cartons into a wide variety of packs. Based on three shifts, our two hydrocarbon filling lines are capable of producing in excess of 27 million units annually.
