Integrated Biosystems' CryoVessel is a portable jacketed, stainless steel freeze-thaw vessel for cryopreservation of biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, blood products, and gene therapy products. They are offered in volumes ranging from 20 to 500 liters. A CryoTrol freeze-thaw system recirculates temperature-controlled heat transfer fluid through a CryoVessel's jacket and internal heat exchanger to freeze and thaw product.
CryoVessels have the following specifications:
- CryoVessels are equipped with internal heat transfer surfaces utilizing CryoFinTM technology that provides dendritic ice growth minimizing cryoconcentration effects.
- Product may be sterile-filtered into CryoVessels and are frozen and thawed using a CryoTrol freeze-thaw system.
- CryoVessels are attached to a CryoTrol freeze-thaw system utilizing insulated CryoHoses with no drip connections.
- CryoVessels are designed for clean-in-place and are offered with CIP spray-coverage certification.
- CryoVessels are ASME pressure rated and are designed for steam-in-place (SIP).
- CryoVessels are designed for shipping frozen product in insulated shipping containers or CryoTainers.
