DCP50 Programmer

The Sensing and Control business of the company offers the high-quality DCP50, a low-priced 1/16 DIN microprocessor-based programmer. The new device offers a configuration software option that does not require a communications card, allowing users to cost-effectively configure the programmer with ease. Features that help reduce inventory include universal inputs and universal power supply, as well as four programs with 16 segments per program.

A wide choice of parameters provides the flexibility to address many different industrial application requirements, including temperature, pressure, flow, and level. Typical applications include manufacturers and users of ovens, kilns, furnaces, environmental chambers, and processing machinery.

The DCP50 is the latest addition to the company's LeaderLine family of programmers and controllers, ranging in size from 1/32 DIN to ½ DIN. It is based on the same architecture as the UDC1000 controller. The programmer is capable of controlling many process variables from simple loops to complex multi-loop applications.
