Dew Point Generator

The LI-610 Portable Dew Point Generator is a rugged, portable instrument that provides a stream of gas with a precisely controlled dew point. High accuracy and stability make it a suitable water vapor source for field or laboratory use in the environmental and biological sciences.

Applications

• Calibrating solid state relative humidity sensors.
• Calibrating the LI-6262 CO₂/H₂O Analyzer.
• Verifying calibration of dew point hygrometers.
• Precise control of the water vapor mole fraction in environmentally regulated chambers.

Water vapor is also commonly measured in industrial processes. The humidity sensing instrument used in industrial applications often have on-line sensors that directly affect process control, efficiency, and product quality. The LI-610 provides the capability to calibrate these on-line sensors in order to assure measurements with high accuracy and repeatability.

For biological and meteorological research, the portability of the unit adds a new dimension to field calibrations of humidity sensors and water vapor analyzers. Bulky gas tanks, mixing systems, pumps and salt solutions are eliminated when calibrating with the LI-610.
