Disc-Stack Centrifuges

Alfa Laval Brewery Systemsoffers the solids-ejecting CHPX centrifuge series for the diverse separation needs of the process industries. Application areas include raw material treatment, waste disposal, and a wide range of manufacturing processes. The versatile disc-stack series is operating in the chemical, pulp and paper, mining, nuclear power, sugar, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries.

CHPX centrifuges are suited for a variety of separation tasks including liquid/solids separation as well as separating two liquids and a solids phase. They are capable of separating particles as small as 0.5 microns and separating 2 micron droplets of one liquid from another. The automatic discharge cycle eliminates manual handling of solids and minimizes loss of process liquid. Available in four centrifuge sizes, each machine comes as a complete separation system with all ancillary and control equipment. All units are suitable for continuous operations with even, homogeneous flows or within process lines with fluctuating conditions.

These centrifuges are available in gas-tight and explosion-protected versions. Units are also adaptable to on-site automatic cleaning systems.
