Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, Inc. Expands Clinical Labeling Capabilities In Petaluma, California

PETALUMA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, Inc. recently announced expansion of its internal clinical labeling printing capabilities. With the addition of non-smear thermal transfer printers and software that allows for uploading and printing of random codes, Dow now has the capacity to print any single panel label (blinded or open label). Bringing this capability in-house increases quality control, shortens study timelines, decreases cost, allows for timely label revisions, and makes re-supply of labels fast and efficient for Dow clients.

Since 2005, four Pre-approval Inspection Audits (PAIs) have been completed at Dow, including three by the FDA and one by the Swedish regulatory authorities. No FDA 483 form observations were issued. In addition, five European QP audits have been completed and Dow has shipped clinical supplies to 45 countries worldwide.
