DynaRand was founded in 1998 in San Francisco, California by Dr. Scott Hamilton and Jonathan Dole. Dr. Hamilton was formerly at Genentech, Inc., a large biotechnology company. Before working at Genentech, Dr. Hamilton earned a PhD in biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jonathan Dole was formerly at Salestar, a software development company. Between the two of them, they have over ten years of pharmaceutical and software development experience. Dr. Hamilton has developed strong relationships with several top pharmaceutical clients in the Bay Area.

DynaRand is dedicated to quality by maintaining a slow and steady growth rate that allows them to provide top-of-the-line service and consulting to its clients without spreading its resources too thinly. Project managers at DynaRand are assigned for the life of the project so that clients don't ever have to bring up-to-speed new project management staff.
