The E-beam tunnel guarantees the safe entry of containers with pre-sterilized syringes into the filling line isolator. This automatic E-beam system is especially suited for continuous processes with high thru-put, up to eight containers per minute.

The E-beam tunnel guarantees the safe entry of containers with pre-sterilized syringes into the filling line isolator. This automatic E-beam system is especially suited for continuous processes with high thru-put, up to eight containers per minute.

Air flow

  • Unidirectional, vertical air flow at the entrance to the tunnel for a particle free environment before the emitter
  • Unidirectional, vertical air flow on the "sterile side" of the tunnel for a particle free environment after the emitter (Grade A, ISO 5)
  • Direct ozone extraction at the emitter and transfer to the outside air

Transport system

  • The container (tubs) are held on their edge and actively transported
  • A special transport system of high quality stainless steel, developed for cleanroom applications.
  • There is only one tub at a time in the emitter zone

  • Double filtered (HEPA H14) in and out of the unit
  • DEHS testing ports for "in situ" testing
  • Uni-directional airflow over the entire "sterile" sections of the transport system

  • Special stainless steel-lead-stainless steel "sandwich" construction
  • Stainless steel AISI 316L/304, polished to 0.8/1.2 µm
