Eclipse Systems
With an extensive law enforcement and public safety background Eclipse Systems' focus was to produce communication software for use with various state and federal databases which serve law enforcement efforts nationwide. In 1989 the company's first product, IntelliCom, was released. Serving as a communication gateway and message switch, Intellicom allowed Hewlett Packard 3000 'mini' business systems to easily communicate with the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (CLETS) and the National Criminal Information Center (NCIC). Interfacing to criminal justice databases was only part of Intellicom's objective. In 1988 Mr.Gagne designed, coordinated, supervised and helped to build, one of, if not the very first PC Laptop based Mobile Digital Communication system utilized by law enforcement (see: APCO Bulletin Magazine 1989). It was his involvement in this system which prompted the construction of Intellicom.
Since the release of our first product in 1989, Eclipse Systems has provided quality, cost-effective products and services to both business and government with a specific focus on the Justice and Public Safety market. Located in the area affectionately known as Silicon Valley, California, exposure to new technologies is an everyday occurrence. Eclipse Systems has embraced these newer, more advanced technologies and leverages them in every way possible.
Today we still focus primarily on communication and database application software. Our main development focus concentrates on powerful network environments which utilized the popular Microsoft Windows graphical user interface (GUI).
Specializing in the Justice and Public Safety market, Eclipse Systems combines many years of both technical expertise and practical line of business "On-The-Street" experience to solve your complex mission critical problems.
