DMW machines can be computerized to closely monitor and adjust the powder fill area, to achieve increased accuracy. The machine has high efficiency with low downtime, due to ease of cleaning. All Century machines are designed with features such as elevated electrical switches, slanted electrical enclosures, and safety interlocks on all doors.
Machine operation: Capsule Flow
- Capsules gently deposited into sorting block
- Capsules sorted small end first
- Capsules inserted into carriers (segments)
- Capsules are separated into two halves
- Product slug is transferred into lower half of capsules
- Segments are checked for faulty capsules
- Capsules are re-joined
- Finished capsules are ejected
- Segments are cleaned with air
Machine operation: Product Flow
- Powder is automatically fed into dosing area
- Powder is tamped up to five times into dosing disc holes for uniformity
- Product slugs are transferred into lower half of capsules
- Product is locked into capsule automatically and capsule is released from the machine.

The Century 400 machine is the most affordable in the line and features dosing and capsule handling identical to the larger machines. Output of this machine is up to 400 capsules a minute.Century 1500
Capsule production is up to 1500 capsules a minute, and this machine is able to be upgraded to a 2000 capsule a minute machine.Century 2000
