FFF Enterprises And GlaxoSmithKline Sign Agreement On Flu Vaccine Distribution

Temecula, FL - FFF Enterprises Inc., a national distributor of flu vaccine, based in Temecula, has been selected by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to distribute additional doses of Fluarix(TM) influenza vaccine for the coming 2006-2007 flu season. Already contracted to distribute vaccine for GSK and the other two manufacturers of the three U.S.-licensed injectable vaccines, FFF estimates that its combined contracts make it the largest flu vaccine distributor in the nation for the second year.

Patrick M. Schmidt, president and CEO of FFF, said he sees the agreement with GSK as another vote of confidence in his company's ability to effectively and securely distribute biopharmaceuticals nationwide.

"FFF is experiencing tremendous growth," Schmidt said, "much of which is the result of our manufacturing partners' recognition of the importance of our secure, well-defined supply channel and its reach into both non-acute and acute sites of care. FFF purchases vaccine only from manufacturers and ships only to healthcare providers -- there's no more secure distribution model in the industry."

The Fluarix prefilled syringes can be ordered through FFF's 800 number, and, by mid-July, on FFF's new MyFluVaccine.com, which allows customers to place orders online and select their delivery dates, a unique service for flu vaccine providers.

"MyFluVaccine.com offers the nation's first system for ordering flu vaccine with confirmed delivery dates," Schmidt explained. "Historically, vaccine providers have been unable to secure guaranteed dates, making it near to impossible to schedule vaccine clinics with confidence. MyFluVaccine brings long-awaited certainty to flu vaccination, which is the most effective way to prevent seasonal flu."

FFF helped GSK successfully launch Fluarix in the United States during the last flu season. For more information about ordering Fluarix, call 800-843-7477.
